60+ year old thread.

I gave up at 65 1/2 Dave and it is the best career move I ever made. Boss was a real pita and didn't believe I was going to retire until I called the main office(he didn't and it was his job to do it) and let them know I was going. That was 4 years ago and I would do it all again.

I do too for all those still working. Working wasn't like it was many years ago. Hang in there Bill.

 

I just get tired dealing with generation whateevver! When l started my job years ago,most everyone was a professional and knew how to make a buck and in the process making me one too.Now sales are based on trying to just get it out the door.Maybe there's hope out there!

 

Morning all:
Was just ready to start some projects when my buddy pulled in, helped him cut and load up a pickup truck full of wood. Now I can start the projects which include wading in the pond and straightening the overflow pipe that the bear pushed off to the side AGAIN!

 

Put a sign up telling him not to do it..

Afternoon all . I also hope Jim is okay as well. He has been on break for a few years now and I haven't been able to locate him on any sites. Maybe he moved to the Caribbean and is living on the beach....That's what I would like to do .

 

He's been away since March 8 2015. Over 3 years now.
