Our Calvin lived to be 18 and for the last several years of his time with us he dropped down to about 5 pounds. All his blood work always came back fine as well.
We rescued him when he was 4 and he was an awesome cat. Still miss the old guy.

How is Cheech doing? Hopefully you’re roommates are giving him a lot of attention until you get home.

Cheech is off his meds now. Doing well. Poor roommates had to force the pills into him. Lol. I definitely owe them a nice expensive dinner.
Hes back to his playful self.

Our two boys both have feline tooth resorption disorder. They are litter-mates, and apparently this is a genetic thing.

    https://www.petcoach.co/article/tooth-resorption-in-cats-feline-oral-resorptive-lesions-for/

They are 6 years old now, and both have had to have multiple teeth removed. Henry had to have four pulled on Tuesday, including one of his lower canines. It's an all-day thing with dropping them off in the morning, sedation, surgery, recovery, and then pick-up in the afternoon. He was not a happy guy Tuesday night, but was resting comfortably - and well medicated - yesterday.
    28207.jpg

He's got the wife with him all day today, and that should make things better. Poor little guy.

Poor kitty. I always feel bad when they have to go through these kinds of things and don't understand what's happening.

Henry was doing better on Thursday. Still pissed off and tired, but he's acting closer to normal. He's off of dry food for another week and that's always been his favorite, so we have to deal with him being finicky with the moist for a bit.
