Much respect for ya. I visited Key West once in July, it was so damn hot I couldn't wait to leave! I couldn't imagine working there. I wanna go back in the winter & visit again.

Damn, you're nearly old as dirt then!

Yea, mad respect. I lived new Orlando from June to Sept in 1980 so yeah, I know what that heat is like. I could never do it now. We're going to Siesta Key this September and after we booked the trip we second guessed it. But it's when the rest of the family are going so to be with them we bit the bullet. We shall see. When I was younger I had a lot of outdoor shit jobs. When you're younger you do a lot of stupid things.

On a side note, I worked here with a now retired engineer that was part of the original workforce that built the Panama Canal. He used to tell me stories of how dreadful that was. I would have to pick my jaw up off the floor each time.

I work in climate controlled only spaces now. :D

I have infected another friend into buying a Toyota and joining the offroad scene.

He got a two owner 98 3rd gen with 240k and all service records.

Just got a set of 5th gen 4runner wheels and painted them rootbeer bronze (they had some scuffs), and wrapped them in LT265/70r17 Falken Wildpeaks.

    I am so proud:

Thanks Allen! I can't wait to see what you do to that Cement Taco! I've been a huge fan of that color since I saw it on a Scion many years ago. It definitely looks best on a truck and the lines of the Taco the best canvas yet!

I infected another buddy of mine too. He recently bought this silver 4runner and he loves it. I'm trying to convince him to lift it.

This is something you don't see everyday. Factory 4x4 van from the 70's. And what's surprising is the body isn't rotted out too bad. It's parked here by my work.

Considering a pre-owned tundra to yank my boat around. Just did another 60 mile round trip with the boat. Taco just doesn't feel up to the task. 60 mph is about it with this rig.
