Bro. I'm just saying... if you want to weld outside, a 25 foot cord might put you right at or just outside the garage door, even with the welder cord.

I would agree with this as I could see the HOA not exactly being thrilled with the thought of sparks and open flame that could be visible to the public. Considering it can be blinding for the unknowing pedestrian walking by could make a situation you may not want.

HOA was last on my mind, thought I dont want to be advertising that I am doing it. I also dont want to be stuck in one spot.

I agree with the saying "its better to have more than needed, rather than less that needed"

Better to be looking at it than to be looking for it.

I agree that more length can only make the set up more versatile and what not, but regardless of HOA I would try to conceal the flame with a make shift blocker or something if you want to burn it outside. Its one thing if you live pretty secluded, but in a traditional neighborhood, you are just asking for the HOA to get involved whether or not if they have a clause for open welding.

Well hopefully you don't start a movement...or else they could vote to amend that.

I also vote for the 50' vs the 25'. I have the 25' and it runs out quick. I can only weld in one small part of my driveway, and that's it.

I know the feeling. I think my next project is the updated rear platform to accommodate the fridge.

ohh yea, I want to do that too.

    List (goes on forever):
    buy vise, punch, etc
    rebuild axle
    serpentine belt
    SC belt
    build drawers
    build table
    build solar setup
    fridge
    touch up sliders
    get bumper back, painted, installed
    trim flares
    order lights
    install boost gauge

    ughhhhhhh
    house stuff is impossible too.
    mow lawn every week
    take out trash
    clean stuff
    figure out shelving/organization in garage

At least some of those things don't cost much money to do! Just labor. Referring to painting armor and trimming the flares. Probably better to do it sooner rather than later to avoid the heat. I need to repaint my armor as well. Maybe I'll do my skids on my upcoming break, so long as I have some primer left.

I dont mind the heat. Its uncomfortable, but ill do stuff in it. Remember I dont use AC in the truck. I enjoy sweating my ass off. Rather that than freezing

I don't mind labor stuff as it doesn't cost any, but yea that's a lot of shit to do.

You're crazy. The heat is so much worse than the cold. That's why I really don't want to move to TX
That's why I can't wait to own. Wife wants a garden, but we're limited since we're renting. I'm going to build her one of these in the mean time.
