Staying in the same area, just moving down the road practically. We should be in the new place by the end of the month.

How do you like the scan gauge II?

    Thinking about picking one up.

How's the install and how does it mount?

    Thanks as always.

I’ve been very happy with the scan gauge II, it plugs into the obd2 port and I used Velcro to adhere it on the top of the steering column where I can see it and change things easily, I’ve had zero issues with it and was also able to program trans temp recently which made me very happy!

I bought it at autozone since they stock them, but Amazon has a better deal I believe! Originally I bought it just to monitor battery voltage but it does quite a bit which is nice, well worth the money for what it is. And it will pull check engine codes and clear them if you ever get one (basically I won’t have to wait till I get to the shop to use a scan tool). It only pulls codes that come with check engine light, does not work with the traction or abs system codes.

@ChadsPride truck mods are on hold momentarily still, I’m having my doorbell electrical completely redone so I can install the ring doorbell pro I bought and I ordered security cameras too, been wanting to do it for a long time.

And I found a guy on here selling a perfect allpro rear standard bumper for $200 butttttt he lives halfway across the US lol. Otherwise I would have jumped for that deal

Yeah it's only lived 6 months out of a garage since I bought it new. Only 6 months due to putting our new treadmill in the garage. There wasn't enough for for the DCLB after that lol

    Oh you fancy :fistbump:

Not gonna lie, that’s pretty sweet. I may upgrade my factory (standard 6 disc CD player radio) head unit. I used to have a kenwood double din but it died and I had to put the factory radio back in.

How do you like the pioneer? What model is it?

And is the idata link a Bluetooth dongle that plugs into the obd2 port and syncs with the headunit?

Any Pioneer NEX series & lots of others (Kenwood etc.) are compatible. Yes, it plugs into the OBD2 port & you can choose which gauge goes on each screen & where. The units of measure & parameters too. There's two style of gauges, white & blue. Really like the unit & no problems now for over a year.

Is that one of the units that allows you to mirror your phone screen as well, for say google maps?

Yes it is. Not need for fancy GPS updates. What's on your phone is what you get.

Hell yes! The kenwood I had used Garmin maps, updates were pricey, and the software was crap. I’m gonna look into it, I have a GTA car audio Bluetooth dongle on the factory radio so I can stream which is nice at least
