Amen on the Camo upholstery. Everytime we go to Bass Pro Shops I point out my future recliner. In the long run it paid off because I did get my oversized leather recliner.

Yeah I might swap this one out for the recessed grill! But ether way I think the BAMF grille is one of the best grille options for the Tacoma.. other than the PRO grille

Modified my rock lights and rear lights. My LED rock lights are now activated by a physical switch AND the dome light signal (approaching vehicle, unlocking vehicle, opening doors, etc) along with my LED reverse lights which are now activated by a physical switch AND my stock reverse signal. Big thanks to @DSIM on all of the help and for coming up with his dome light harness which made tapping the dome light circuit super easy and idiot-proof (which I needed :D).

I decided to compile all of my electrical write-ups (LED light bar, rock lights, and reverse lights) in one post here. There's also a ton of photos and info in my build page here that I just finished updating.

Here's a few recent photos from a recent road trip through Big Bend, TX:

I didn't lift mine. I did trim a bit off the front air dam but never really noticed any rubbing in that area.

Had my 2nd Gen TRD exhaust installed onto my 3rd Gen to avoid a ridiculous dealer cost for new exhaust. Just needed to be shortened a little bit.

    Ummm... Noisemaker?

I'm just about to order a MBRP XP dual cat-back. The only other option I found for a dual exhaust was the Flowmaster, which I KNOW would be a lot noisier than I would like.

Just how noisy is the MBRP? I was under the impression it was *relatively* quiet.

One day one of these will be the other noisemaker-equipped vehicle parked in the garage beside my Taco.

I'm a big fan of the finish on that second set !!!!

Sweet. Would love to hear a sound clip if you get a chance to video it.

I'm 49 and have to agree. I like chrome on some applications.

I guess it depends on the vehicle....it's features & other accents.....and most importantly, it's color. There are certain color Tacos that I like fully blacked out (Quicksand, Cement, White, Calvary)....and some that I like with chrome (black).

Sure worked for me. I had a hernia surgery scheduled after having same procedure done twice before over the years. I knew that recovering in the days after was so much easier when I didn't try to sleep laying flat. I worked that into a "must have" and informed the wife that the decorative leather wing chair and ottoman was going to be replaced by hyoooge ugly leather recliner (the model name of it is The Beast.....no kidding). Thing is massive and uber comfortable. Life is good.

The Taco was spared my ham fists of death yesterday. I did an oil change on my other machine instead:

It has almost 107k on the clock. I did swap motors at 83k. The current one has 33k on it.

I admired the Taco while waiting for the oil to completely drain out.

Thanks! 2001 ST4. I picked it up for a really nice deal in 2008.

Pretty cool, but I'm trying to avoid rattling the neighbor's windows these days. I'll leave that up to the Harley riders and high-school kids in ricers.

Yeah, after posting I'm leaning that way, too. I did look into the gold "anodized" finish that Steve @mrproduxn suggested, but it was just too over the top. Looked like something you'd find at Trump Tower. The gold and red go well together, but I think the gold needs to be used sparingly.

    Me, too!

    ...

Probably too late, but I'm tellin' ya' man, if at all possible find a surgeon that does laparoscopic surgery. I had conventional arthroscopic hernia repair done back in my twenties and was in a world of hurt afterwards for a couple of days. Had it done again a couple of years ago with the laparoscopic method and there was practically no pain at all.[/QUOTE]

I have a sweet older widow living on one side.......she's had 3 convertible Vettes over the years....she understands muscle cars and their sounds. Cool gal.

I have a smoking hot gal living on the other side.....she's into cars, too....bought both her sons 4x4 vehicles one of them is a lifted 2nd Gen Taco....the other is a murdered out black Tahoe. She drives a brand new 4WD 4Runner. She grills, works hard and chills with cold sudsy beverages. Cool neighbors.

Across the street is an elderly couple.....husband worked for GM for decades and retired down South for the climate. They are really nice and he's a car fan.

Also across the street is an hombre about my age....both his kids in college. He's a bass fishing nut and drives a nice 4WD Tundra.

I got nothing but thumbs ups from them when I did my exhaust mod on my Tacoma. I'm guessing they won't mind whatever muscle car shows up one day, either.

My wonderful wife is good with whatever I decide to do. She's really laid back and knows that I won't go full-on stupid......for now.

Challengers and Mustangs are calling my name, though. GT350 or Hellcat......GT Premium Convertible or 392 Shaker.....hmmnnnn. Who knows....in the 2-3 years before I start seriously shopping around, there may be something else on the market that really turns my head. Nissan may do something really nice with the 370Z.....or I may go for something more refined like a Lexus RC F.

    Who knows. Future fun.

Took a beer break while mowing my little acre & 1/2 of the world. Walked by my Taco that was sitting in full sun thanks to the tornado that swept through town some years back and thought I'd just try lifting an edge of my TRD Off Road decal. To my surprise I was able to peel the whole thing off in one piece with no glue residue at all.

Tried side two with the same result. Now I can get those sweet graphics that @CBoy808 made up for me put on.
    I'm psyched! :yay:
