Deavers for now but may have a secret sauce in the works soon. I could of used a little more droop this past weekend TL problems the short wheel base trucks didn't have the issues me and another TL did. There back tires hit the rocks to climb where ours were drooped out into a hole. A locker would of helped also but waiting on that till I regear for bigger tires.

Probably will stick with some Billies if there mounting will work. Since you can get the 5125 and 5160s in whatever length you want just have to look at their mounts more. If not them probably some 2" kings or Icons not sure I need the larger 2.5" ones for the type and style of wheeling I do. But it'll probably evolve over the yrs. If I had the $$$$ I'd get those 2.0 foxes he's selling as well.

Here is a clue to my tire plans I ordered the Red Goat fab cab mount relocation brackets.

Here's some fairly inexpensive 12" shocks that you could put in there. Seems like it'd be a good middle ground.

    https://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-...absorber-dia-2-travel-12-w-schrdr-170-60.html

And I say if you want the relocate, go for it! I'd wait until you have everything to do the install, so you can do it properly. that way you can set the lower shock mount and bump stops at the correct placement so it all works together nicely.

@ovrlndkull if you can spare downtime, pair the shocks with whatever leaf and hanger setup you're going with. Then you can see how much travel you have and pair the shocks accordingly.

Man, that's awesome! Everything went well? I've heard some bad stories of frame swaps. Mine went really well, and it's so nice having a new frame.

So far so good. Rode well from the dealership to base. My brakes are super soft and I know they replaced brake lines, so I'm probably going to bleed them a bit when I get home.

That would probably be a good time. Gotta order them first. I also need to ship a case of BL Orange. What slider options are you running?

Shit, if you bring me a case of bud lite orange and plates I'll do your CMC for you.

I'm running weld on, with a kickout and the standard 20 degree angle. I'd definitely get a kick out as it's saved my ass a few times. I've been off camber, and slid into a tree. The kickout hit, but without it, the top of my cap would have hit first.

I should probably invest in a welder now too. The rentals are stupid expensive and I have to drive over an hour to the closest place that rents them. Harbor Freight may be getting some business :bananadead:

    I have this welder

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4OXVAY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    And these gloves

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MRQAJG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And the cheapest auto darkening helmet there is at harbor freight.

For wire, I switched to 0.030 Lincoln wire and holy moly what a difference for the better, as opposed to the 0.035 stuff that comes with it.
