Looks good. How do you have the display mounted? I need to look into one soon since I drive with my softopper up most of the time. It's becoming a pain to back up in tight spaces.

So I'm looking into a new stereo for the taco. Preferably looking for a touch screen that fits in the area of the stock radio. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wow, what a day it was yesterday. Started at 1030am, "finished" the drivers side at 1am the next morning. WWTTTFFF???

    20180509_140351.jpg

    Here's what I swapped:
    Inner/outer tie rods
    Rack and pinion bellows boots
Upper ball joint (the loaner kits from auto zone, etc suck D**k)
    Lower ball joint (assembly)

Also put in my 1" Daystar leveling kit (well half of it at least)

What I pretty much wasted in the process:
    Sway bar link
Brake line at the mounting point into the caliper (started leaking pretty aggresively, and I'm not sure why....)

Tomorrow, I'll be starting the drivers side, and replacing both sides of the wasted stuff above. Should go much much smoother. I learned a ton doing the passenger side (first time doing ball joints) and it was my first time getting that deep into the truck.

Pretty amazing how frustrating it can be working on a car. And then it feels so good and rewarding when its done...

Any tips on getting the other Daystar spacer in there? I fear that I pried both the UCA and LCA too far. Also, I got new bushings for them, but looking at them, it looks like another day and a half commitment....

Got my BAMF BPV bracket installed today. Things beefy as hell. And yes it's brown because that's the only color paint I had.

Looks like I'm finally going to be able to test that 4WD conversion. Hitting up the Hollister Hills SVRA this weekend with a buddy of mine.

He has a civilian spec 1999 Hummer H1. Thing is a beast.

Well it's out with the old and in with the new. No codes and everything is as it should be. Just need to ship out the core.

My old motor bounced between 650 and 800 but I would say a well running motor should be 750 +/- 50

I had to make a short film for a class, so I obviously had to make it about one of my trucks. Here is the most dramatic and cinematic oil change you will ever watch in your life.
