Last year I purchased a hammock from a company called Hobo Hammocks that I think provides the best value in the hammock industry and does great things for the community as well. Last summer I hosted a very successful group buy for these hammocks (link to original group buy) and I would like to continue to support this company and bring a great deal to my fellow members of TacomaWorld!

You may be asking what makes this company so great, well let me tell you. For every hammock they sell they provide a meal to the homeless. They also work with the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake to help the homeless find jobs and apartments. Last, they recycle old hammocks and donate them to the homeless as well.

Beyond what Hobo Hammocks does for their community here are some of the key benefits you will enjoy when purchasing a hammock from them.

1.) They offer a LIFETIME unlimited warranty. Yes, you read that correctly.
2.) All hammocks ship for free as part of this group buy! (Normally international orders have a $14 flat fee for shipping. US is always free)
3.) All hammocks come with carabiners and nylon hanging straps at no additional charge. These are necessary accessories to get you hanging in your hammock that other companies charge anywhere from $20-$40 for. With Hobo Hammocks they are included with every hammock purchase.

Ok enough of the fluff, here are the IMPORTANT GROUP BUY DETAILS!

    10-14 hammocks = 10% off MSRP
    15-19 hammocks = 15% off MSRP
    20+ hammocks = 20% off MSRP

MSRP info can be found here.

Group buy discount will be applied to accessories added to the cart at the time of purchase!

If you are interested in this group buy:
"Sign up by replying to this thread with the number of hammocks you would commit to buying. Don’t chicken out. You are either in or you aren’t. NO maybe, no waiting on the wife, gf or bf to get permission. There is enough time to make up your mind or find a doctor to sell your kidney or pawn your wife’s jewelry. If you are on the fence to see if it’ll go up to max discount before you jump in, you are HOLDING the group buy back. Don’t be that dude." Wise words from the group buy king @ramonortiz55

Sign ups will be open through 5/16 unless we hit the maximum discount before that. Ordering can commence as soon as we hit maximum discount or if we only have enough for a lower discount then I can provide the discount code starting on 5/17. The heart of camping season is right around the corner! Makes a great father's day or graduation gift!

I will check this thread frequently to answer questions.

All threads are worthless without pictures, so without further adieu....

Everything comes self-contained and packs up into the pouch attached to the hammock including the carabiners and hanging straps.

These are the carabiners and hanging straps that come with each hammock.

    Triple stitched seams.

This is what the hammock looks like at the gathered ends.

Here's an example of my hammock set up in the front yard.

I wish these had the daisy-chain style strap. Bought one last year and its a pain in the ass to get the straps taught between two trees sometimes.. Ended up buying some ENO straps instead. Other than that, these are a great deal

I dont know if you have seen this, but it definitely helped me to get the straps just how I needed them. Daisy chain straps are nice too though!
