I don't actually have a yeti but my little rubbermaid cooler self identifies as one.
It does a good enough job for what I need it for but filling empty milk jugs and freezing them is definitely a good idea. It's no fun when everything ends up soaked from melted ice.

This is what I do when I'm camping and need ice. I have a bunch on hand anyway, since I add them to the freezers periodically as I pull food out to keep the thermal mass up. Plus as it melts you've got drinking/cooking water, which is handy.

Great advice. Also if you have ice packs, toss them in the cooler the night before. Freeze what you can, although for only a few days that part may be over kill. I also have a few containers that are the shape of block and I freeze them in layers. Then when camping, every few days I'll empty the water and refill/top off with cubes.

I have been looking for some containers that I could just drop a block of ice in, but haven't had in luck in my search.

Oh and my yeti was bought at Wally World for about a third of the price if the non-imitation yeti.

Looks good! Those truck bed tents seem pretty cool. I just picked up a cheap instant A frame style tent from walmart but haven't even set it up yet. I really want to run through my stuff and start making sure everything is going to be ready for the trip, definitely getting pretty excited for it.

Possibly... :anonymous: haha I was supposed to go camping a couple weeks ago and I picked up the tent for that but never actually camped, so it hasn't been used yet.
