    I know there're a bunch of you here in and around San Diego (and a few stationed at Miramar) - so who's goin' to the airshow in two weeks? I'll be there on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Friday and Sunday recruiting duty).

    It's gunna be awesome! Blue Angels are back, and they're supposed to have secured an F/A-22 (unlike last year).

    Yes the airshow i have been working at miramar for 6yrs and to me its the same bad ass jets though the thunderbirds sucked blue angels are the shit. so i will be there friday working. Cool thing is i have flight line access so i can bypass the lines!

    My daughter was Airfield Management at Tyndall AFB. She said that the 22's would never fly if the weather was even slightly bad!:rolleyes:

    At least they're having this airshow two weeks before it usually is. Maybe the weather won't be so rainy this time like it has been the past few years.

    Any of these airshows are pretty chill if you've got any type of connection - especially a military connection. Back in '06, I was working Civil Air Patrol recruiting with one of our officers who is also a Marine Reserve Sergeant. He's currently back in his original field (03), but while he was here at Miramar, he was an F/A-18 structural mechanic. I got to fondle some planes and bombs. :cool:

    I agree! On the Thursday before the Airshow I would sit at EOR and watch all day long as the Aircraft would come in.
