I did a lot of mods on my previous cars and seem to have gotten it out of my system. Only things I've done to my truck are wheels/tires and the trd pro grill and that's all I have planned. I've spent too much time and money fixing problems I created by modding

Ok, this is all very interesting but whats the biggest tire I can fit without installing a lift or having to trim sheet metal?

I think I’d get more smiles out of a sports car than a Tacoma. Unless your beating the shit out of it every single day, off-road in some really sweet spots. Let’s face it, most of these are pavement queens

But...but...but the photograpgh says 1864. Maybe you're thinking of George Washington in 1942, when he quoted Abe Lics 1864 blog?

At one point in my life I was on an executive board of a small credit union. I remember in the training that the CEO said "you can't spend other people's money". What this means is that when you are approving loans it isn't your call on if they should spend the money one item vs. another. So many times I personally know people that lived in horrible conditions, children dressed like pigs, sofa with duct tape, etc., but had a good income to debt ratio. They would borrow $75,000+ for a fancy sports car. It drove me nuts but there was no financial reason why our board should deny the loan.

Some can live with high debt and expensive hobbies. Whatever floats your boat. Me, I'm jumping up and down because I've been making quad principle payments and will have the house paid for in 3 months. You can eat well or sleep well. I sleep well. To those that spend a ton to modify your vehicles, thank you. I enjoy seeing them. I'll just pass by in my very clean, well maintained, and paid for stock truck.

The real takeaway from this thread. I've decided to just save for what I need and stop nickle/dime-ing little mods and wishing I had money to blow.

Ok, and thats what I thought it was originally about but I got confused with all the financial talk. Are we discussing what credit card is best for paying for hookers now? Do you still get airline miles when you use your credit card to pay for a BJ? I called Citibank asking that same question and they hung up on me.
