It’s hard to describe. I would say it sounds average for a small Subwoofer set up. It’s doesnt sound like two 10”s.. it sounds less than that. But DOES sound good. Enough to start rattling the rear view mirror. If you’re looking for big bass this is NOT it.. if your looking for balanced bass, for average music, In a tiny package, this can work. Read through the Amazon reviews.

Mr marx box-shallow pioneer 10”, molle panel, amp under driver seat on taco tunes amp rack. Great option as well. Will be laying black felt over silver soundproofing in future for sleeker look. No alterations to truck to fit his 16+ boxes

or go crazy and put a 13TW-5 (or two) back there. that's what i did, run off a 500/1 in a Marv box. tight fit, tight bass. and big bass. too big for the amount of sound deadening i have actually.

let me know if it fits. It seems too deep with the sides of that enclosure.

Stealthbox is a 10 tw3 sub for the Tacoma
    The microsub+is a 10 tw1 or a 8 inch w3
    And the powerwedge+ is a 10tw1

I could have gone with the other two options but coming from a 10 inch W7 I knew the power and micro could not come close. The stealthbox is far from being close to a W7 but given the space we have that was my best option without taking out my back panels. Did not want to take them out because didn’t want it sitting in my garage. It is pretty pricey for the stealthbox but it’s worth it
Here is my set up have a stealthbox with a 500/1 JL amp And Audio control lc2i
    And c1 door speakers 5865C9D0-18C3-4525-AC94-0E09C60C2041.jpg215FE091-01A1-4604-889E-E0DDE43C067B.jpg

What do you think of the C1’s? I’m strongly considering those as I plan out my setup. What kind of power are you throwing at them?

It works great with the stock head unit with no amp you could run an amp If you wanted to

Any idea How many inches between the child latch system and the bottom of the cab? In other words tallest box you can put back there that does NOT go higher than the latch system.

I have a Kenwood Powered sub under my drivers seat, you can definitely hear and feel it but if you`re looking for deep bass I`d go somewhere else.

As measured on my double cab: 12 inches from the tether loop to the bottom of the bins.

Thanks for measuring it, thats with the bins installed, I wonder if you gain any inches by taking the bins out? Appreciate you doing that though...good to know when searching for boxes.
