I love this remote!

 

That's what I get for staying late. Contractors pulling hv cables through existing duct banks and manholes had their pulling rope break which was wet and snapped back into existing hv energized cables (12,800V). Eleven buildings went down on that feeder with just emergency power. So the kids and their parents trying to move out of two affected dorms had no elevators or ac and only emergency lighting. Managements boneheaded ideas of allowing contractors to do this work during a busy time such as this. Can't wait to see what happens during commencement Friday night and Saturday. I swear they are setting us up to fail...

 

A little sound and light show?

 

Fault happened on the other end of campus close to our decommissioned steam plant. The only noise I heard was the bitching from parents concerning no elevators and rightly so...

 

....little duct tape'll fix that...

 

We had a guy hit a 7.2 with a back hoe, that wasn't on the drawing. Sounded like a bomb inside the plant. He was ok but it took about an hour to pull the seat cover out.

 

Man that was lucky

 

I roller skate but I've never been on blades.

 

Blades are so much better than skates!! IMHO.

 

Tomorrow is Friday already...fast week!

 

Evening Everyone !!

Just now getting home from the car show , lots of cars today maybe 40 plus . As usual Bench Racing with friends and also sitting down for dinner with them enjoying their company

Played around with the carb and timing before heading there today and its running awesome . Have the timing set at 16° initial 42° total all in by 3k rpm and the motor likes it

Now the motor has a really nasty sounding 1300rpm idle and when driving at 30mph all you can hear is the cam lope . When I started it up to leave and while building heat in the motor I had quite a few people walk over to my car and saying to me that it sounds nasty !!


I even had a guy tell me he could hear my Camaro idling from the other side of the parking lot and it sounded awesome

Morning.
Slept well last night.
Been a long time. Of course being exhausted helped

Shop was totally on edge yesterday. Way to much work in between the big jobs.
Customers were pisssed at the wait time.
It’s only the beginning.

Older fuckers with bad backs, knees, shoulders, fighting sickness and cancer ain’t gonna run for anybody..

One more day and I can forget about it for a week.

 

Happy Friday all! Today is the day! Just go around and say good-bye's. Stop at the HD and gas station on the way home, and then cut the grass after lunch. Next, crank up the anxiety over starting a new job.
