I am looking to do a few modifications to the storage boxes in the bed of my truck (possibly power inverter, light switches, speaker switches...) and am having trouble finding the replacement for the storage boxes. I want to find replacements first because I am leasing my truck and want to figure out if they are something that is going to cost me an arm and a leg if I modify. So does anyone know where I can purchase these, and what they are actually called? Thanks in advance.

Driver's Side part # 64742-04010 passenger side 64741-04010. These are the part numbers for the boxes only, does not include door, inverter plug etc.

    Good luck

I have one of each I can sell. I took mine out since I have a Decked system and can’t access them anyways. PM me if you are interested. It’s just the bins and lids. The AC plug assembly I moved to inside the cab.

Thanks! I appreciate that. I am only looking for the boxes themselves and will be installing an aftermarket inverter that has a little more juice and I shouldn't have to do anything to the doors.

Thanks for the offer but I am only looking at prices of new for now and won't be getting the boxes for about 3 years before I would turn it in at the end of the lease.

Those part numbers should do it for you then.

Just my added .02.... less than the OEM/dealer cost is a good price. You could always get the bins from @EDLawrence do all your modding/mounting with it on the bench then pull your bins from the truck drop in the free ones with your added mods and spend less time in/under the truck working on your mods. the 1 or 2 bins that came with the truck could easily be stored in your attic, crawl space, or closet. Then at the end of the lease your cost is limited to time pulling your moded bins and dropping back in the originals as well as no more money out of your pocket.

Good luck with your mods and enjoy your Taco!!
