If y’all are are looking for a good burger you really can’t do much better than Brooks’ Sandwich House in NoDa. Cash only though.

 

Ummmmm yeah you have a well trained dog there. Mine would of swooped that burger up right away either that or kept looking at me then the burger wondering if it would be worth taking it. Yours just ignores it! Looks like a good bird dog there.

Full disclosure, he had just been scolded for pulling a hot dog out of the bag when I wasn’t looking and dumping all the chili on the tailgate.

I don't know about you, but my GSP will eyeball any food anywhere..........then STRIKE as soon as you aren't looking.

He even knows punishment will follow, but that's a risk he's willing to take. I think that's the modus operandi for any GSP I imagine you probably know. Bad thing is my boy is TALL. And after our house damage, we got a new kitchen table where the level of the table is below his jaw line. Easy pickings when you have a two year old leaving food on the table.

 

I have two dachshunds, no problem at the table. Now we got a third goober. His muzzle is table/counter height. I think the two senior dachshunds put him up to shit...
