Tacoma is back home. New LCA bushing and cam bolts. They mounted new coil overs and did alignment, They had to cut the cam bolts and burn out bushing. 20180511_081746.jpg
I will work on rear this weekend. So far front drives real nice. Coming home drove down smooth and bumpy road. Felt real nice.
Sorry about not so good picture, it's raining.

I ended up gong down that rabbit hole one night  Jeeps are about the only thing that can be flat towed and why you see so many Motor homes pulling them. Have to trailer the Taco plus get a decent sized MH to pull it and carry a UTV. Class A diesel pusher is well into the 6 figure range for a decent one, although they do depreciate fairly fast and a lot of used ones out there. Just getting to a base camp where I hunt on the North Shore of Lake Superior a full sized truck is pushing it width and road condition wise. So not sure about a large MH but still going back and forth.

When my father retired they sold the house and bought a Class A diesel pusher and traveled the country for a couple of years. One thing that caught them off guard was how much it cost for hookups in a RV Park. Monthly rates are cheaper but then your tied to that spot. Daily rates are often half the price of a hotel room in nicer places. I'd be off grid in the North much of the time but still have to get the darn thing to where I'm going. $600 a week for a basic cabin adds up over time though.

When I got the truck it already had the tower mounts on the cap. Everything is Yakama. The towers and bars I got from the Yakama web sit. At the time a lot of other places were sold out. I had 48 inch bars that I had from my ZR2 Blazer, but they were a few inches too short. I could of used the 48 inchers if I had gotten the track system. If you get Yakama order extra bar end caps.

Hence this is my next one with a trailer for the taco , flat tow is convenient but backing is a bitch . So trailer it and be done. :)

If you set it up solar and winter camp heated tanks etc . You can pretty much park anywhere fed parks , state parks are cheap or BL lands . No amenities but cheap ;)

No prob be about 2 years , seems a lot get to FL, az, tx and sell and stay . Not as many up here so. My plan is get trailer taco fits with some extra space but the taco can tow. Fill it with all the needed stuff drive down load hook trailer load taco and roll out . We shall see if I can pull it off .
