I bought these for my 2016 TRD OR and now have them on my 2017. I bought mine off Amazon Prime in 2016 for $318 total. I just checked and they are around $365 with a shipping fee.
Amazon will say they don’t fit but they do, they use the exact same bolt holes. I don’t use the running boards since I’m 6’-3”.....wife does though.
They have held up great, no issues, plus I really like the look of them.
    Found this on eBay.

    Nice!
    My fav place in Texas!
I go once a year with family, at Thanksgiving for a week, have friends who live there, 400 acres in Study Butte, off the grid. They have a guest house, about 300 ft above Terlingua Creek in the background.
    Amazing day and night sky.
Best part, hardly any people anywhere.
    Beautiful blue truck!

No real concerns..other then I hoped I didnt hit any wires when I screwed it in.. (Which I did not) I was at the local gun range and the guy showed me this Alien Gear Kit and since it came with vehicle mount I bought it. Gives me a wide range of options but the main one I wanted was to Arm my Taco!!

LOL looks freaking amazing! Did you do any prep or sanding in between coats or was what you posted the complete process?

I'm thinking of doing this. Just too much crap get tossed on the chrome. I already scotch-brited it to feel better about cleaning it.

I'm doing an online chat with these folks to see if they'd be willing to do a $160 price match or healthy discount on a group buy if enough members signed up for it. I'll update when I have answers.

Awesome. There was a drive-in right by my house growing up. What fun! One of the few things that I miss about that place.

    Nothing worthy

Best FREE mod i've done so far and it's beneficial for offroading as well (since iv'e hit it a few times on the trails) is tail pipe delete. What a difference in appearance from the back end not having the tail pipe jut out.. Don't waste time with any of this, just cut it off! Ill post pic when i get one.

I agree. An axle dump is in the future for me.

The plan is for the crossover relocation and a swapping in a muffler with the axle dump. I just need to find a local shop that will doing for a reasonable price. The place that did a cobbled together sport exhaust for a car that we sold is no longer in business.

In the mean time, painting the tip would just be fun.

I went to Advanced and got a thrush muffler for $35 and a 2.5" pipe for $8 and an exhaust clamp for $3 and simply removed the stock muffler and bolted this on. It has a nice deep sound without the "ricer" high pitch whine at higher RPM. Pics to follow when i get home

That is one of those cool tools that I haven't bought yet. A belt sander is a bit higher on the list. I want to dump in front of the axle though. Need a bit a pipe and some sparks for that.

Please do. No welding? How did you get it hung?
