Lets see your upland hunting, bird dog and shotgun pictures!

I'll start here are my boys Lincoln the Lab and Jaxon the Vizsla. Remington 870 in the background. I spend all my money on trucks, gas and dogs. Still haven't been able to buy an O/U.

Vizslas for the win! These particular pics are from a hiking rather than a hunting trip.

That's a good looking dog! Do you hunt with your dog or just a trail buddy?

I don't hunt, but I always seek them out for my pets. I really appreciate the community behind them. Field dog breeders are usually looking to improve the lines, they're tested for conditions, temperament, predictable, they have drive which makes them easy to train. Here's my most recent.

Great looking dogs! I couldn't agree more. Both of my dogs are from hunting lines and are some of the smartest dogs I have ever been around. That's not to say that there aren't some great muts out there, but I like to see breeders who care about what they are doing and the litters they produce.

My wife trains for marathon's with ours just as soon as they are old enough, so they usually end up looking like body builders, lol. Hip, elbow and other factors plays into choosing our dog's.

Here's an old one of a previous dog. He was a great one. 14 years, nothing other than yearly vet visits.

I like the more trim Labs too. Mine runs a lot training and hunting so I know what you mean! He is pretty much solid muscle lol.

There are a few others of us on here too, I'll hit them up soon. Headed out in a few minutes to pick up a used new style Sweet 16. And send it off to Briley to have the barrel cut down to a proper length for grouse. And Slim the stock fitter convert it to an English stock.

Have 3 guns on Gunbroker for sale right now including a Marlin 90 16 ga. Over\Under that ends in 4 hours 24 min. And need to update pictures on ones that end tomorrow. Have a hankering for a new SxS.

Nice! Can't believe missed this earlier.

I don't spend all my money on trucks, guns and dogs. I save a little to spend foolishly on women, drink and food :D

Have lots of pictures over the years been owned by Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers for close to 30 years now. The Toller in my avatar has since passed over the rainbow bridge. Current pup is 4 going to be 5 in Nov. Mainly hunt ruff grouse in Mn.

And phez in SD with some other retired Navy and AF guys.

Only damn section of land in SD without a fence post to set the gun on. Which is an Ohio made Ithaca 37. Nothing wrong with pump guns I've taken more birds with my 37's than any other action. Most are 16 ga. though.

Also have a FAIR 16 ga. Over Under that sees some time in the woods

Started with an Ryman strain English Setter many years ago. And tried it again a couple of years ago with a rescue Setter, I did miss the dog on point.

But it didn't work out and now he is in ND with a dentist that hunts on horseback. He ranged more than 1,000 yards non stop.

    The Admiral hunts German dogs

    Which are fantastic hunters.

My Toller owns half my truck. The little half though LOL.

    Is it bird season yet?!

GSPs are awesome! Wish I could get a real dog but living in a 2 bed apartment it won't work!

My 10 year old springer and 1.5 year old setter. We hunt quail, chukar, and pheasants here in California and make a trip or two each season hunting out of state.

Here are a couple more from last season. My springer is now a tri-pod unfortunately but I hope he has a few birds left in him yet.

    Minnesota ruffed grouse.

    Kansas rooster and bobwhite.

I made the trip from CA to MN last season to hunt "The King" but the true bucket list trip is to hunt them in the NE, especially in Maine.

It's a humbling experience...but all the more rewarding when it all come together and the bird vest gets heavy.

Hard to come by California roosters, luckily our quail hunting makes up for the poor pheasant hunting.
