Got out of the swamp the week and was lucky enough to get some snow in CT.

I completely forgot to post for this, but 31 March was Ruby's 2 year anniversary. I can't believe I have had this truck for 2 years! She has been completely transformed from a stock vehicle to an overland machine. We have had over 60,000 miles of adventure and traveled all over the country.

As I mentioned in my first post, I did all the work myself or with help from a friend. I refuse to pay a shop to do something that I could do. In doing so, I have managed to save thousands of dollars. Now, to say I am done modifying Ruby is a lie. But I can say that all the big projects have been completed.

Over the next year I plan to make some small improvements which include, but not limited to:

    - TRD Pro Grill
    - @Baja Designs squadron fogs (amber)
    - Factor55 Ultra Hook
    - Shovel and Axe
    - Some sort of rack for the topper, either a Prinsu Toprack or a basket

If ya'll have any suggestions or input please feel free to share! My hope this year is to focus more on getting off the pavement. 2017 was a bit of a whirlwind year for me but with the birth of my son I can't wait to get him outside overloading and camping! Hope to see you all out on the trails!

Nice truck and congrats on the kiddo! Glad you're going to start him young in the camping and off-road world. I, like many on here, got hooked at a young age :)

Let us know if you ever have any Baja Designs (BD) questions

    Bailey,

Thank you! He's 8 weeks old and has already been out hiking and shed hunting with us!

I'll definitely let you know - not quite ready to drop the cash on the squadrons, but hopefully in a few months when baby expenses stabilize haha

Put the truck to work on the homestead this weekend. Now everyone in the family wants a winch in their trucks.

New photo of Ruby thanks to our photographer! We were taking family portraits and he liked my truck so much he took a few.

I’m getting a Masters in English, so I can teach college or just get paid more to teach high school! I’m excited about it though!

And yeah! Treating myself is definitely in the plan. My 1st gen is pretty nice at least!
