My Morimoto fogs were also super low when I first installed them.

To adjust them, I just sat in a level parking lot at night and adjusted the fogs up until I could see the beam over the hood (from the driver's seat of course). It took a few times of turning the screw, then jumping into the driver's seat, then adjusting the screw a little more before I got it right.

Looks good! First time using, or have you used it before? Wondering on the longevity of that stuff. All wax looks good right after, but I want something that's going to last quite a while.

I’m sure it’s all hype, but people seem to like it. The only stuff that’s ever lasted for me is the shit that dries rock hard and takes forever to buff shine it. Any carnuba wax that dries hard.

Got these in yesterday. It's nice to not worry about screwing up my rugs. Now to keep the rugs incase I eventually trade in, or sell the brand new TRD Sport floor mats?

I had those in my 2nd gen. I'm glad you've got a picture, because they're never going to look that good again. They absolutely do their job. But the pattern makes them impossible to clean. First time they are wet with dirt, it's on them for their lifespan. I'm giving the Toyota all weather ones a try this time. I'm sure nothing is perfect.

Oh, and that sticker will be gone by Sunday, lol.

That's what I plan to do as well, thanks. I couldn't tell they were that low at first because the led low beams are so bright that they light the whole field of view anyway

Did you adjust them in place, through the top?

I both installed and adjusted them without lifting the hood. I did it by removing a couple screws in the wheel wells and then bending the black plastic back enough to get it in there. It was surprisingly easy. Might be easier to adjust the fogs that way since the adjustment screws are on the bottom of the fogs...

I'm sure you know this now, but the fogs with the low beams off. :) Once you get it adjusted and then you turn on the LBs, you will see that there is some slight overlap, but the morimotos have a much wider beam which is super helpful in lighting up the sides of the roads too.

Excellent, thanks for all the good info. Yeah, I was wondering if I'd even be able to reach the screw from above. Sounds like your way may be the way to go

Took the time to use the circle punch on the weather stripping which turned out great, although no one will really see it. The only hiccup was Toyota f’d up one of the roof mount threads at the factory which took a bit longer to deal with.D76886F6-FFCF-4E68-9776-A4EF3E4967FB.jpg

Try Carbonite. Holds up exceptionally well after repeated washes. Ask another Carbonite user.

Sorry. Yes I did weld the pipe to the muffler and hung it with $3 muffler hanger. Also if you look, I did mount the muffler backwards. This is a 2 chamber muffler was loud and raspy the correct way but inverted allows for a little less flow and more echo bounce back20180511_174841.jpg 20180511_174825.jpg 20180511_174741.jpg 20180511_174810.jpg

    Nice!

That is what I want, just with a small down turn tip.

New tires and wheels. Dick Cepek Trail Countrys 265/75/R16 on Ultra Wheels 226 Machine. Close but no rubbing even with Weathertech mud flaps. Also put on Tacoma insert letters on the tailgate. Love the way she looks with this size tires. It's the proper size. Fills the fender wells very nice.

Advanced also has turn downs for $5 and you can weld or clamp that to the other side. I didn't only bc I didn't want to spend the extra $5 for the same result. I will say that if you plan on going in water deeper than your muffler, you should definitely get a turn down
