    Important Q:

Buy Ruger American Predator .308 in moss green

    or

Buy Springfield Socom16 in FDE and sleep on couch for three to forever months?

Either one gets paired with a Styrka scope (work perk).

I'll second that, the M1A with a short barrel and tacticool stuff just looks wrong to me. It is a beautiful rifle in it's original configuration, leave that other stuff to AR-10s and other modern rifles. It's almost like sporterizing an M1903, just ruins a classic service rifle in my opinion.

American made Walther PPk's any good? I almost bought a stainless one, but when I saw that it wasn't a German one, I decided to wait.

Not the US stuff is bad, but better to err on the side of caution.

Took my new Fightlite SCR out to a range in PA today. It was raining so I knew I would have the range to myself, which is always nice. I've added a bolt lock/release and a KAC ambi-mag release which has made the weird ergonomics of the rifle more manageable. Fun little rifle, but jesus is it loud and bright. Featureless rifle laws defy logic.LRM_EXPORT_20180512_160853.jpg

Every time I see a 1903 or K31 Swiss that has been bubbarized it makes me cringe! They are beautiful old military rifles so keep them as intended!

First time loading for 300 Win Mag. Watching the powder in the powder dispenser just disappear is crazy. Hopefully I can find a good load without too much work as the 2lbs of H1000 I have will not last long!
