Softopper Advice: Black or Tan?

I sought the topper that actually fits the truck. 3rd Gens bed has different dimentions.

 

How did you know that? Ha, you're right but it was an access cab and I have a little one in the way so needed back seats. This let me swap almost all my mods over before selling the timberland truck

 

Tan color will be much cooler in inside temperature rather than a Black topper.

 

But works.

Thanks , ya i sold it a few months ago. I really miss the color and more so the long bed but a double cab long bed Taco didn't make sense to me. Might as well buy a full size then which I didn't really want/need

 

Does the back flap scratch the paint on the tail gate? How does the flap secure?

 

It comes with sticky velcro to secure it to the tailgate, but i just let mine hang there without it and it hasnt scratched the paint at all

 

I used magnetic tape and attached the provided Velcro to it.

 

Can the back flap be removed?
