I had Duratracs for 55K miles. No cuts, no punctures, no chunking, no sidewall issues. Sold 'em to a maniac with a jEEp XJ that abused 'em another 30K before finally giving up on 'em. No problems that I'm aware of. Except for the fact they rode rough and got loud as they wore, no complaints.

Still think I'd rather have a dedicated MT on the spare set of wheels. But thanks for looking out

If I can find em. Need to get more serious about finding a set and start calling tire shops for take-offs

KM3's hit the stores in about a month. There will be a lot of people buying them and removing other mudders.

Because 60lb tars on a non-geared 4 banger sounds like a GREAT time

I'm also a cheap SOB and won't be buying "new" tars til my credit card limit gets an increase

    Voting anyway.
I say dark red metallic or bright bronze/gold -ish metallic.

Whatever color, just do it bright, bold, and metallic. Add clear gloss to make metallic stand out more.
    Seriously. Not messing with you.
I liked my red & black metallic rims.

Not painted them yet. Haven't even bought paint, either.

Bright and metallic you say? Metallic gun metal gray it is :D
Can't have it looking like a candy striper, unless it's one from one of those movies where the nurse really isn't a nurse ;)

I just don't know man. Can't get behind blue wheels on a white body. Before you know it, I'll be shopping the VatoZone stick on chrome isles...

Turns out that google hasn't done 'white tacoma with blue wheels' before. That screams "RICE BURNER" worse than my magnaflow muffler!

    Just paint em black....

    Oh great...going full retard. :bananadead:

In all seriousness, do what you can to keep your truck as light as possible when you wheel it. You'll be amazed how much better a lighter truck wheels and how much less stuff you will break. 50 lbs here and 70 lbs there adds up in a big hurry. My fiancee and I could still comfortably camp for a long weekend with just my bobbed bed full of gear totes and a spare when we were driving the Tacoma everywhere. You just can't be IG cool and bring your skottle and RTT with....

Detroit's are way stronger than lunchbox lockers but with the corresponding price tag too. The OG Lockright from Powertrax is also quite a bit stronger than the no-slip model. Chase at ECGS won't sell no-slips for a reason....

Lol! It's a 4 banger, light weight is key. I've been flipping back and forth with a cab and or bed rack.

I use a $20 coleman butane stove and a $50 Walmart special Coleman ground tent. No rtt or fancy wok
