    Morning guys!

Niiiice that other lot was a tad tiny.

Good luck, I know I'll never get that back. I'd love to, but it would take too much time and I do not have the motivation for it anymore lol. Never did less than 20 pull ups and the 100 crunches in two minutes after boot. My run time varied. I hated running for speed but I could jog a 21-22 minute 3 mile pace forever though.

    Just a few things.
So this morning I had one of my Techs pull one of my rear tires to see if i had a leak on it.... When i went back to check on it.... I believe my face looked something like this....:eek::eek:.... Drums in the rear... What gives??? I was a bit surprised to say the least. (Shame on me) I haven't done any research as to swapping for disc or if thats even an option.... The plan was to get armor on the truck then suspension.... Have you guys swapped the drums out, how do they perform if you havent?

imo, swapping your rear brakes shouldn't be a priority. They work just fine as is. Build up the rest of the truck then you can address the brakes.

Stick with the drums.. they do just fine and last twice as long as the fronts. If youre gonna upgrade anything id go with some stainless steel braided lines and some better pads for the front discs

Yup. DRUMS. I was surprised to see that Toyota kept the drums on the third gens. But if it's not broke, don't fix it.

Unless you're the government; then if it's not broke, fix it till it is.

    +1

This is the best advice you'll find. That said, if you really want discs in the rear, older Tundy discs will fit with very little modification. You can swap everything including the proportioning valve for about $300 if you use refurb or used calipers, new rotors, and new pads. Braided steel lines and quality shoes are your best bet as discs will only show improvement over stock in conditions outside the normal envelope of operation for our trucks.

I want discs in the rear.

Haha! Something pulls me towards disc as well.... Everything ive seen and read is pointing me back to drums. Hey, if they work and no complaints from anyone here then im happy!

Drilled and slotted rotors are sexy and when you have four of them on a truck it's 4x more sexy.

I think I'm done for the day. Nothing else to do. Cleaned out the hangar, washed the helicopters. Office is good. All my flights are done. Kind of want to leave early but I'm the only pilot here right now and don't want to miss out on the pay either.
