I don't see many of those for sale used. I bought my set from 4wp on a sale they had and paid just over 300 for the set. Not bad for new wheels.

Cool thanks! I will check online and see what price they have on them now. Did they clear your calipers? I want these wheels for my 3rd gen 4runner but on another thread, a TW member mentioned they didn't clear his 2nd GEN Taco.

Anybody have a computer monitor theyre looking to get rid of? Preferably with an HDMI port instead of the old school VGA? Also looking for it to be about a 24 inch screen.

I’ve heard of them but hardly see anyone running them... Their site kinda sucks for phone browsing too.

Why do both of you recommend them?

I know a lot of people who icon or Kings and once they swapped over to ads their only regret was not going with them in the first place. Icon, king, Fox, bilstein, their all good quality, just depends on what your needs are. Most of the guys I know with ads do a lot of off-road from light terrain to extremely technical trails. And they also do high speed desert runs. That right there was their main reasoning for swapping over to ads. I guess to each his own.

Any high end shock is going to be plenty for what you need it to do. If you were racing then some of the small details make a difference but if you are racing you would be buying race series shocks and not prerunner series anyway. Basically pick what fits your budget best (cheapest) or if you want a specific color go that route. You can make any shock any color you want but again for budget sake if you want black its going to be cheaper to go with ADS or Fox

Thought I would offer this up here first. Remington 700 take off barrel chambered in 300 Winchester Magnum, 26 inches and maybe 20 rounds through it. No recoil lug. If need a factory replacement this is it! $100 or best offer.

I work with a keeper who swears by ADS and he has some simple reasoning: 1) they're local to Tucson and provide amazing support and 2) what you get is the same tech they're running on the race class rigs. It's not a cheaper version meant for the public but the same products they put on their sponsored race trucks. I would definitely go ADS if I could afford it

I have looked and they only thing they advertise is metal springs and check balls in the bypasses, King does use plastic check balls in the bypass but I have never even heard of anyone that doesnt race melting a shock. Doesn't look like they have a larger lower shaft, doesn't say what size or brand spherical bearings, looks like standard seals (all these are upgraded in race series). It does look like the actual bypass check valves are bigger than King, similar to what Fox has on their standard shocks. But if anyone has actual info I would be interested in the difference. Not saying ADS doesn't have a few small items that may be different but it does seem very hard to find specific information about them
