Severe t-storm warnings all night. Something tells me that my sleeping bag in the bed is going to be less than ideal.

Tried that before only earned a complete night of no sleep.

Stopped by harbor freight and got a tarp since i didn't bring my shelter.

 

Just saw a lawn tractor cross the main highway. Must be in @Star-Lord hood.

Picked up a scan gauge and programmed in the codes to read FICM values and engine oil temps. The seller ghosted me though

So, honest question here. It looks like you're camping by yourself, how is that?

I have another buddy who's gone camping by himself, but I've never done it.

 

Nobody wanted to join... Pretty simple, drive out to camping spot and proceed to camp. I don't mind it.

I tend to do a lot of shit by myself since it's usually last minute, I "planned" this last night about 10pm.

The second half of last year all i did was camping with no real plans although half i ended up camping with new friends.

 

Have you met him?

 

Of course, camping/wheeling by yourself has it's risks. I sunk my truck for about 4 hours in nasty mud in the Yukon about an hour from the Alaska border, no cell service for hours or passing traffic... Almost rolled it while exploring a trail that turned into a steep atv trail near the start of the Dalton highway, crossed a super sketchy snow drifted shelf road in Oregon. Naturally i survive all that and succumb to a "scenic route" drive and cheap electronics.

Camping probably not as many risks, but I'm just not one to wait around to do something... If i want to do it, I'll do it. Give it a try, it's not bad.
