I've actually just bought a 2018 DCSB OR, I'm not sure why everybody hates the look of them, i quite like them on my truck!

 

That’s actually a good deal on those wheels. I talked the guy down to $400 but the lowest asking price I see for them are usually $450-$500. $800 is a great deal if it comes with tires - I see them go for sale for an average of $1,000-$1,250 all the time when I was looking.

 

Ok. Wasn't sure what the market value was. I should've kepted my 7-spoke FJ rims. I like those on 1st gens too. For them for $200 with about 1200 miles.

 

I’d say $400 is a good deal for the wheels, and about $750-$800 for the wheels and tires. Just going off a couple months of searching Craigslist those are the average prices.

 

Looks good. Your gonna like that lil truck. Runs strong and clutch is good. Why didn't you guys drive it home? You gonna fix it up or farm truck it?

Not a 99 so that discrepancy always concerns me.

 

Got together with a few friends and just drove down together and made a road trip out of it. Had the trailer so figured it would be more fun that way. @mini_twuk got it as a daily driver.

 

Maybe I should inquire. I'm not up on my 3rd gen 4Runners. What gives it away?

 

Front bumper is the 96-98 model, red came with tan fenders/cladding in 99. Also front and rear bumper should be painted not chrome.

 

Shoot that just means it’s been in a ton of accidents.


Or the seller is clueless. Easy mark...

Probably just clueless. I just worry about the integrity of the car if the person can’t even get the year right. Although sometimes it could mean a potential deal as they don’t know what they have.

Just changed the oil and took it for a long drive. Wow. Best $500 truck ever. That 5 speed is great. I’ll post up pics when we put the flatbed on it.
