@Texoma recently did a similar install on my rig. I have regular dakars with overload leaf left in and a 4 degree pinion wedge (adds a little extra height). swapped over to 888's and a 1/4 spacer and she sits damn near perfectly level. For reference, I have a SSO slimline bumper and smittybilt winch upfront, no armor (eek), and sliders. I like the lower spring rate (compared to 886s) but then again I haven't ridden on 886s. Hope this helps...

    Edit: @jlusmc

Thanks @Phoosa! It's me, Spring cleaning garage. Have multiple items, but not enough posts to put them under For Sale...

I've got original VooDoo Cargo Basket and BackFlip2 Tonneau cover going up for sale as well.

Love the shell, finally getting around to racking it up for this summer...

Has anybody in here been to Moab or any of the NPs in Utah? Not 100% but I’m 80% sure we’ll be going next month. We’ll be going over to northern california for a couple of days but I’d like to take the scenic route back through Utah. Putting some miles on the truck:bananadead:

Did you get to do any off highway driving? My main concern is that I’ll have the fam and don’t want to get into anything too sketchy. Looking for places for a stock tacoma to avoid. I don’t think we’ll be staying there so I’m mainly looking for spots that don’t take up most of the day to get through.

There's a ton of stuff to do, Arches NP by itself can take up a whole day. Wife and I thought oohh it's 24 miles in and 24 out, we can do that in 1.5 hrs. ended up there for almost 5 hours and never left the pavement. Moab I'm not so familiar with, was with a group that had been several times and we were riding in trailered rock crawlers doing some of the hardcore trails. Took the below pic with my phone at Arches.12003949_1630474740550732_73017567616245_886c6b21a1f9da1efdd7e5c862556b128f3fe534.jpg

I don’t doubt that. I’ve been there but the misses and her son haven’t. The weather is nice, that’s all I’ve got to say about that...

Since the misses brought up the trip I’ve been watching videos on Utah and it looks nice. I thought these trails would be super long but like you said they’re pretty short. I was thinking I would need extra gas and water. The scenic routes don’t seem too bad as the guy in the video I’m watching now is doing it in a stock tahoe. I would like to drive around Utah for at least 2 days.
