    Okay,

I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD OR. Its a long bed and double cab.
I was thinking of having a leveling kit installed. I have never been down this road at all.

So, what things should I consider and does anyone have any advice on what a good brand of leveling kit would be?

I have also considered getting some new wheels as well. But nothing that would be bigger then factory. Not at this time anyway.

If you are just looking to level it out; I would suggest some Bilstein 5100's set at the 2nd (~.65" of lift) or the 3rd (~1.1" of lift) notch.

Another option would be to go with the same 5100's all around and add some new springs to let the spring do the lifting.

    Such as this kit:

You can contact Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and she can help you with what you are trying to achieve.

A lot will have to do with your budget, and how you are going to use your truck.

Thanks. I will give those options a look. I do not plan on doing a lot if any off-roading. I want to keep my truck as an everyday vehicle although I really dont drive it everyday. I do plan on taking it on 5-8 hour road trips from time to time.

Those two kits could work out well for you then.

A few good threads that you may want to look into. A lot of information can be found there as well as experiences/reviews.
