So... I lifted my truck last weekend with the Bilstein Adjustable 3” lift kit with 5100 shocks. I set it on the highest level and used all the shims being how I wanted the most out of the lift. It’s all working great and actually rides pretty good, but my UCAs are rubbing the coils. I got it aligned today and it aligned good but they said it was maxed out. I plan to do the cmc tomorrow and put on my new tires which are 305/65-17. I know that I will need that full lift out of the truck to fit these but also don’t want to mess up any of my suspension components. I’ve read through some posts and am seeing that most aren’t going to the highest level on the shocks. Is there any way I can keep it where it is and just get aftermarket UCAs or do I need to adjust them down?

    You should get UCAs.

What do you mean when you say you installed all the spacers?

The kit cam with front top spacers. Two 1/2” spacers and one 1/4” spacer. I measured from the ground to the fender at 40” in front and 40” in rear. Right now I have 265/75-16’s.

So you think with new UCAs I will be alright?

Taco lean spacers. You are fine on that but you would be better off getting aftermarket upper control arm to get your caster right on alignment and getting new ome springs so you don't have to compress the shit out of those stock ones. Take a look ome 887, if you got a lot of weight look for a stiffer spring.

I understand what it came with. Lol but really not meant to sit on the highest perch, I mean don't get me wrong.... it can, just not advised. Btw you only put one spacer per side right?

Yes, one spacer per side. If I get UCAs everything else will be fine?

Yes technically. You will be able to fix your alignment and get your caster to 3 or higher where it's needed.

    Lift doesn't create tire clearance.

Wheel specs, trimming and chopping do.
