What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Site I bought from said in channel. I’m not really digging these like u mention the front part goes into the channel by the mirror and rest adheres to rubber surround. Wifeys Crv I put the weather techs on. Should of spent another $50 to get them.

 

Got some new rims and tires today. Looks much nicer in my opinion and no rubbing which is fantastic! At 8" wide and +12mm offset they don't stick out too far as well (second photo). Quite pleased.

Just curious, why not go to a dual exhaust? I have been thinking about doing this when I need a new muffler.

 

Goodlooking truck! I like the snorkel it's on my list with about 20 other things right now. Of course, the list got shot in the ass when I figured out I need a new roof to the tune of $6800 oh well life goes on.

 

I bought mine with the truck. It's all financed so I'm paying dearly. Wouldn't change a thing. I'd do it again if I had to.

 

Getting messy. Diff, transfer, supercharger oil, and engine oil. No, the stuff in the pic doesn't go in the engine

 

Nothing. Double checked parts for my bumper install and I was sent mounting brackets and hardware for a discovery Land Rover instead of for my Tacoma. The bumper is the right one so I emailed Marie again and headstrong hopefully we can get this sorted out so I can mount the bumper and winch.

 

Well that sucks ass but Marie ought ot be able to straighten it out

 

Yes she’s great the bumper was missing the plastic light fixture inserts and I just got those in the mail which I would have caught this sooner.

 

I wasn’t really looking for any sort of performance gains. Just clearance. I already banged my exhaust crossover once while wheeling and wanted more clearance and cleaner lines. Plus it’s all about picking battles... this was only $160. I can pretend like not spending more on a fancy exhaust offsets the cost of the king/TC lift and Pelfreybilt bumpers that I have on order...

Anybody know what quantity of fasteners are needed to do two heated seat installs?

 

To piggyback off this post, I have a HELP QUESTION:

When I turn ONLY my fog lights on, the passenger side does NOT illuminate. However when I turn BOTH the light bar & the fog lights on, everything lights up

I'm running an add-a-fuse from the cab's fuse box to the #6 pin and I connected another wire to that one so I could run it to both switches (pictured below of the split).

I also ground the #7 pin, and piggybacked another wire to split over to the other switch.

All other pins (#8, #2, #3) are coming from each individual wiring harness/relay that's mounted underneath the hood.


I'm unsure how just 1 light would come on when the fogs are turned ON, but then when I turn the light bar on, everything comes on???



Guidance would be greatly appreciated!!!
