Well tore the rear end apart, now waiting for my dad to get home to help me get the new springs in. Anyone got an idea which surfaces to grease for the leaf bushings?

I just rubbed some grease on each bushing with my fingers.

Hopefully someone will correct this if I’m wrong, but what I did was grease the inside of the bushing. My understanding is you don’t grease the outside so the bushing doesn’t move, but the inner sleeve can rotate freely.

Copy and that seemed to work well with your leafs? No abnormal squeaks? It makes sense only the mating surfaces should have grease.

Mine go in fine. I just want to get all the life I can out of them since they are a wear-item and obviously keep them from binding. Greasing the inner and hanger surfaces seems to be the ticket. Thanks guys. Pics when it's done and no more bro lean.

I replied to your PM but don't worry about the trails being too hard, so long as you have 4x4 you can do both no problem.

Drinkwater staging area, out in Santa Clarita off of San Francisquito Canyon Rd...if you search Drinkwater Flats on google maps that's the place it takes you to. I'll post the coordinates tomorrow.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
