That’s a good way to kill yourself. Using rope and logs is a sure way to getting a rope or log snapping in your face, watch how many times he steps over the rope and log. No way I’d do that with the weight of a vehicle on the other end. You’re asking to lose a limb, off your body, or worse.

Just a day trip for me.

Not sure Saturday or Sunday. I’ll check to see if my brother wants to go.

There are places to wheel there that aren’t mud. Hill climbs and deep ruts to play on.

All the mud stuff is localized to a couple of spots easy to avoid.

It might get kind of crowded though so I mostly just find a good vantage point and watch.

Until some guy on his cousins quad comes around the corner doin 40mph and plows into your truck lol

Seriously tho, had to help some guy get his quad off one of the hills there, if you can even consider those hills.

After a few minutes of trying to translate I had to motion for him to get the hell off the quad so I could do it for him lol

That being said, frank Raines was closed for fire season when I bought my truck, so I went to la grange, fun was had lol

That’s why I don’t bring my kids on weekends like that. Lot of idiots.

Yeah hill climbs are pretty tame compared to Frank Raines and Hollister

Disclaimer: I grew up riding dirt bikes at frank Raines, Carnegie and others around our area, not a single inch of dirt there I don’t know. Tried my first (and only) backflip at frank Raines, it didn’t end well lol

So, to me LG is very small and limited. But plenty of space to drive a truck around for a few hours. Especially if you’re tryna send it lol

Edit: Also disclaiming that while I shredded a motorcycle, I am a fucking scrub when it comes to 4x4 shit. But that’s why I have you guys!

Not enough to have a build thread.
I almost made it to the water crossing with just lift, tires, and sliders. It was fun.

    Hi Guys,
The SoCal TW members have been going to big bear yearly, to camp and off-road. It's been getting bigger every year. I would like extend an invitation to the Nor Cal members of TW.

If anyone is interested head over to the TW Family Reunion

These Trail Runs are self ran. I'm just organizing so we don't have everyone on the same trail at the same time. Post 2 has the member and site they reserved. post 3 has the runs that are scheduled. Last year we had 20 trucks on a few runs and it just took too long. this year we are trying to keep the groups to a smaller number. we are 4 months away there should be 10 more runs by the time September comes around.

There about 30 sites left. If anyone is interested head over to the TW Family Reunion thread make friends and book a site.

We are not trying to make money, it just a bunch of TW families camping in big bear and off-roading.

Looks like they are 25-35 online so I'd say that looks like good deal. Do they have any water ones? Which Costco??

This was at the Costco in Antioch. Unfortunately they didn’t have water ones. I might go snag 2 of these for long trips!
