Personal preference, I suppose. All of my vehicles are manuals. Hasn't really bothered me. The one automatic I've had was a 3.0L 4runner and I hated it. I suppose towing would be easier with an auto, though.

The 7.3L is considered to be more reliable than the 6.0L.

That game? That game is in a language I cannot comprehend.
Let's go ahead and keep it pig latin. With the $40 Wal-Mart tents and soon-to-be Teton Sports X-Large cots (since somebody stole my old Army cots).

I will be purchasing that bucket shower system though. There's something to be said about a shower in the wilderness (even if the water is frigid). Get's me fired up! That coupled with the ZERO cell reception (on-call what? HaHa! PAY ME MORE azzholes!) is a F*n WIN!

    Shower System:

    Damn you Amazon!

Ahh, the simple life. I love camping! I will say, staying in the camper when it is raining and snowing is way better then tent camping. I must be getting old or something.

Funny you mention that, seems like everybody who has a portable ice maker loves them. Not sure if I am ready to be on that level yet. I should have bought one for my house a long time ago though.

Yeah, I’m just playing around. Using one for camping hasnt been necessary yet. I can make plenty of extra ice for drinks, etc. just using trays in the freezer and dumping them into a bag. The ice maker is a bit of a battery hog. I’d need more amps for it.

Sounds like some of you have forgot what "camping" was supposed to be about.
I see no mention of patio furniture, or a table umbrella. Fail.

I had a "push to start" Jeep as a first vehicle. Not going down that road again.

So what your saying is innovation and change are ok in picked and chosen pieces to suit your ideals like people do with religion.

Push to start mean your starter didn't work or was there another intermediate version of vehicle starters that I never heard about?

The button on the floor by the gas pedal is the push to start.
