What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yep, he did, it happened less than 1/2 mile from my house on my home from work. Turns out he live around the corner from me

 

I think regular cabs are cool. It's how toyotas used to be.

 

I had a close call in a parking lot yesterday. Prius backed up as I was approaching the exit. Locked up the brakes. Ethnicity of driver will not be mentioned. Had the nerve to try and speed away. Effing Prius driver.

If you wipe that with some mineral spirits, his paint should come right off your bumper. That's what I did on my DD when some asshole hit and run me while I was parked.

 

I wanted to do that yesterday as it I’d driving me nuts leaving it like that, but my wife said I should leave it till insurance comes out monday

 

I understand different strokes for different folks, but why bother with insurance? I didn't notice any gap in the pic, and everything else looks fine except the paint transfer. I'd just wipe it down and call it a day. Some things aren't worth the headache.

Definitely don't touch it until insurance gets their photos of the damage.

 

It is hard to tell from Picts but bumper is definitely pushed back on the one side, it is just not paint transfer, it is dented as well. Looking under the truck, the bottom lip of bumper has a gap from the trailer hitch, the other side is touching. It is not much, but it’s his fault, so I am getting it fixed

For me, the Tacoma looks better without snorkel, but I need that in our driving conditions.
In the same way I prefer the look with original front bumper, but I needed a tough metal bumper .

 

This may be a silly question, but, are those owned horses just cruising along the beach side? Or wild horses?

 

Wild horses a couple of them ended up wandering a few feet from my daughter's window and she was ecstatic that they were so close and kept begging to ride them lol

 

These steps take so much away from your ground clearance...why not rock sliders instead?

Nice. Which brand/model RTT do you have?

 

Some people aren't going to go rock crawling or through areas that are incredibly tight enough to worry about clearance like that and just want steps to make climbing in just a little easier. I have rock sliders and I really do like them, but if I had to do it over again I'd go with steps too.

 

Lift happened today!! Added a 3 leaf pack to the rear but I forgot to take pictures of it haha oh well. I love the way she stands now!
