    Seriously it's easy to make....get a piece of aluminum, trace the shape, cut it with a band or jig saw, drill 2 holes, make a backing plate out of whatever and you're done.

    well, after the band saw part, you left out filing it smooth and dress the edges... and you need to tap the holes after drilling... but yeah.

    the arm on the xmount lets you move it so you won't. i'm more likely to bump mine when playing with my wiper stalk.

    Spoke with OP Avis email not long ago. Some are out being anodized currently and he has some waitingbon hardware I believe.

    If you scroll back through the thread I remember seeing a .pdf file available for those able to make them themselves.

    I know, I know, but I needed a half ton.
    I went this route and it works for me, I did file down part of the arm where it attaches to the ball so that I can push the setup back farther. Haven’t hit it while driving yet.

    Yeah, it took me a few minutes of adjusting things to get them to where I like without any trimming. Mine is a XL to fit my Note 8 and I've yet to bump it while driving.
