Doubt anything is broken, like an abs sensor. You most likely have to recalibrate your VSC after the lift. It’s easy to do, I had to do it when I put 5100/885s on. Check out this thread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ibrate-your-vsc-computer-the-easy-way.467485/

And be sure to thank @Crom for putting the write up together.

4wheelparts says sensor was on when I dropped it off, which is wrong, we all know out trucks. I’m not getting into a argument with them over it, just shows the integrity of the shop or the person doing the work.

One of the guys up front hooked it up to a computer and I get the following code.

C1406 open or short front driver side sensor.

Anyone know if the recalibration will fix it?

Clearing the code will not work, it’s comes one at start up. Disconnecting battery terminal did not work.

Don't think recal will fix it. Sounds like the sensor is broke. Likely they put too much tension on the wire during install. Do a close inspection to see if you can find where.

@cmbondo im gonna disconnect it and hook it up to a volt meter to check the wire and inspect it..

I’m sure this is what happened. They don’t want to take responsibility for the damages and make the repair.

    Recal did it twice nothing.

And I have no ABS. Tested it in a parking lot and I’m sure Traction Control is not working. I have two little girls and I’m not putting them in this truck til it’s repaired.

Sounds like you are all over it. At least you know which side you are dealing with.
It sucks that 4wheelparts did this to you. I've heard a few horror stories of their (often overpriced) work.

Some peoples money is worth more than their time. Some peoples time is worth more than their money. Yours is the latter.
    Nothing wrong with that!!!

Did you try the fix in the thread I linked? This is very common with lifted Tacoma’s to throw off the VSC. Most likely you just need it recalibrated.

Good to hear. The shop I talked to about it, brought up doing it and wasn’t sure it was necessary.
