One other thing I'm not sure if you considered but parts availability is an issue with Audi as well so if you ever get into a wreck you could be out of it for a while waiting on repairs. I work at a collision center and we just had a Q7 for about 3 months because everything we needed had to be made in Germany and then shipped here because they don't keep them on hand.

That is what is written, CA has a thing call "spirit of the law". out of state plates are a gold mine....
CA even has "secret" laws that are not on the books.
in CA it is illegal to have any tint on the front windows or on the windshield, by far the most popular of tickets to write there.
Nor call is a bit more on the "let it go" side of things, provided you are not driving like a twat.

The state sends the cops to school to learn about what is a modification and what to look for.......all based on ARB rules and regs.
had a couple of pals from AZ get pulled for tint....CA likes to step on your legal rights. spent a lot of time in traffic court when I lived there. lot of out of state folks for things you would not think are legal mis steps.

just drive like an old person and you will be cool. you might get pulled for a weapons check....the seem to do that to AZ and Texas people.....oh, EVERY ticket in CA is a criminal ticket, they don't do civil citations (which are green tickets in WA)....

It is just a pain in the ass with that state. All they want is the money, they don't give a rats ass about the laws...95% of the people ticketed just pay it and they like that....

Gotcha, already got the CMC done and mud flaps removed. Got the 1/4' spacers currently so I can be at a full 3" lift and not rub. I wonder if they would work with the icons.

The spacers I don’t believe so but you can crank them up to 3in.

My friend bought an Audi. He was coming from a Honda civic. I told him not to do it. He did it. Blew the engine after a full 6 months of other maintenance issues. He bought his certified used.

    Toyota/JDM all day.
