The 760 Pumpmaster is what all the other multi-pump pneumatics want to be! In production for decades, over 10 million have been sold. It shoots BBs or .177 pellets and does so with power and accuracy.
At less than 3 lbs., it's a great starter air rifle. The stock and forearm are made of a durable synthetic that takes lots of use and still looks good. An economical rifle, the Pumpmaster takes 3 to 10 pumps to send BBs up to 625 fps and pellets up to 600 fps. The checkering on the grip and the indentations on the pump handle make it that much easier to get a grip and stay on target.

Daisy's most popular air rifle! The 880 shoots both BBs and pellets, and it does so with amazing power. This multi-pump pneumatic sends ammo roaring downrange! BBs go up to 750 fps (Never shoot BBs at hard objects!), and pellets go up to 715 fps. You can adjust power and velocity by the number of pumps you put into the rifle (up to 10 pumps).

Yeah the pumps would get harder as you increased the amount.

We had the 760 when it was steel and wood. My brother probably still has them stashed away or they wore out. We even put a .22 scope on one. They weren't quite that accurate. But if you want one that is, look into Beeman. Dad had a gun shop before he passed away and was a Beeman dealer. They were pretty awesome...anyway I was kinda disappointed to see the 760 were all nylon and plastic now. I may have to buy one just to try it.

We would hang our model air planes from the ceiling in our bedroom with fishing line. Then shoot at them with Crossman 760. B-17s could take a lot of hits.

They now come with a pellet clip. This is a ‘14 model in the video. They’ve changed a lot. I’ll be picking one up.

I STILL have a scar on the back of my leg from some kid who pumped his up a mess of times.

The pellet fortunately trapped some fabric from my jeans when it penetrated. We got it out by pulling on the trapped fabric while I used my pocket-knife to help leverage it out of my calf.

    Good times.

Friend went to the desert for a backpack...it was hot 104° at the trailhead, they drank water before starting out. It was a good backpack, much cooler at the elevation they went up to.

When they got back they opened the truck to air it out. My friend went to get his cup of water and screamed like a little girl.

I had a Benjamin model BB pump gun that was handed down to me in the early 70’s, but the seal was about shot. I think I got a summers of use out of it.
