Aftermarket Headlights

Hey guys! I just ordered aftermarket headlights from TacomaBeast. They are the spyder projector light bar drl headlights. Has anyone else ordered these headlights and or are using them? What other headlights are you guys running on your tacomas?

Not sure about those but I have the hid projectors from protuning. Pretty happy with them. Good quality and the cut off is sharp.

 

Thanks for the response. I was looking for these in particular which i dont think anyone has mentioned. https://tacomabeast.com/products/05-11-toyota-tacoma-projector-headlights-light-bar-drl-version-2 got them pre-ordered. They ship on the 15th. I will be uploading pictures of before and after when they arrive.

I installed this HID Xenon + 05-11 Toyota Tacoma Angel Eye Halo & LED Projector Headlights - Gloss Black I am very happy with them the install was easy

 

Seal them well before install

 

I waited to long to order them and they ran out of stock. So when they came back in i immediately ordered them and missed out on the code. I contacted tacomabeast and they were helpful and gave me $100 back. I asked them (customer support) if they were led/hid or halogen and he said halogen but said that some people were running hid/led but also voiding the 1 year warranty. I might end up running hid’s eventually. I’d like to see how bright they are as is

 

Same here if not bright enough, run em a year then modify after warranty runs out.

 

If I don’t like the output I was looking into getting the baja designs squadren sports/pros. They are just so expensive

 

Got them today and couldn't wait to get them installed. Looking forward to some night driving now!

 

Looks mean dude. Not sure if mine have shipped yet. I didn’t get a email or anything (not sure if they send one) saying its been shipped but i am on my way home from vacation and wondering if they are on the porch lol!

 

I got two emails from them shipped and delivered.

I recommend plugging in connectors and check operation of lights before bolting them in. I had to turn one connector around on the led bar to get it working. A lot easier with them loose before bolting in.

Pretty sick!

 

Alright guys so I need some help. These were easy yet a pain in the butt to install. Everything looks fine except for the fact that the far left plug will not plug up to the stock connector (ill attatch a picture) so basically right now only the turn signal and hi/lo beam works. Not sure what to do besides contacting spyder about this. Anyone have any guesses?

 

So the plug on the right is the stock plug and the red one on the left is the one from spyder. I believe this plug is for the led bar. Pretty frustrating. Otherwise they are awesome looking headlights and the output of light seems to be good.

 

Hmm, not sure. My connector unscrew (twist) from headlight housing and the LED light plugged right into where bulb plugs.
Do you still have part I'm referring to still in your old headlight?
