Still understanding the concept, but what exactly is the purpose of this product? Does it shift into different gears faster, save gas, etc? I know plenty of people say they have it and can't imagine life w/o it, but trying to understand why still haha

Easiest was I translate is it amplifies the signal of your throttle. For example what took full throttle before to open up now takes half a throttle which is in sport mode. There is different settings for MOG and just quicker reaction on the throttle which you’ll either stay the same or loss MPG if you drive like me :)

Okay, that makes more sense to me, thank you

Does the eco mode really work that well on our Taco's?

Eco mode is lame hehe. It literally won’t let you go full throttle. When speaking to the pedal commander rep they said most people use eco mod for 4wheeling.

I have my truck on sport plus 4 and our gas mileage is the same

Stock with a camper shell for now.
Is it worth the 250 for the increase in what feels like power? My understanding is you don’t gain torque or power but the feeling like it’s there

I've had this on my 2nd Gen for a few months now and like it. I think if the Tacoma was the only vehicle I had, I would just get used to the lethargic pedal response. However, my 17 Camaro ZL1 and 15 Explorer Sport were far more responsive, so I wanted to see if the PC would help. It certainly did. I drive on the first sport setting if I remember right.

It doesn't add any power other than adjusting the sensitivity of the accelerator pedal.

Super easy..a 4/5 year old can do it. Basically detach factorywire and attach the PD to the wires you detached
