I don't see any point in those extra inches hanging beyond the bushing. I think if I cut that off and hammer a bit more I'll be good.

$hit for those prices I've got 2 batteries, jumper cables and a few coat hangers, I'll start a CMC business.

It has an extra piece of useless steel inside for no goddamn reason.

I paid $90 with fill plates for mine, and got my pinch weld notched and flattened in that price. OP, where are you located? If you're in Southern California holla at @Shmellmopwho

Your on to something now. And for an extra $100 I'll throw in some white Oakleys.

Dude, is your avatar Patric Swazy.

I got your plane ticket right here.

    I don't fly, it's to dangerous.

There needs to be a Road House quote thread.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
For a shop it should be no more then one hour labor to do a cmc on any Tacoma.

Anyone quoting more than one hour is not experienced with doing the job or they are gouging you.

    Dont bash me...
    I had a cmc done.
No plans to sell my truck whatsoever... But..
Just curious can anyone comment on resale/trade in value/issues after a CMC?
Or the effect in 5 years? Rust issues?
    Thanks

Mine showed some surface rust after this winter. Just going to spray bomb it again.

Some cmc’s take more than one hour to preform. I do 4-5 a week and the way I do them takes two hours or so. I don’t think I’m incompetent or gouging anyone. Everyone seems pretty happy with the results.
