I'm always telling him that she doesn't like the crap he does but he just doesn't listen. Guess I need to just be a bit more stern. Thanks for the advice brother.

Oh man!! The dropping by unanounce is the worst too!! Grandpaw works commercial refrigeration so whenever he is working at the Costco closest to us over by the San Tan mall he just pops by. We have cameras on the front of our house. I just ignore him and don't answer the door if he doesn't call or text me first.

That’s a proud parent moment, when your two year old tries bacon and asks for more.

If my two year old doesn't ask for more then they're adopted... as in put up for adoption so someone else can take the little commies.

Late to the discussion but isn't weld to frame also lighter? You are using the frame as your "backing plates" instead of actually having backing plates which has gotta shave off a decent amount per side...

Congrats on the new ride, sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Toyota axed the Manuals on their lower end Tacomas (which does not make ANY sense...) so to move to a Manual I would have to go to TRD trims.

Weight difference is only around 20lbs approx. I don’t know how many people are going to really use that as a reason to do one or the other.

Ha ha .no different from what we went through with my parents . My in-laws are awesome and love to spend time and go on destination vacations with them. I have never had an argument with them in 27 years. My parents that's another story .

That's not an insignificant percentage though, when most sets weigh about 100-ish. You can tell my mindset is still Miata-based where a 20 pound weight savings is basically "shut up, where do I send my money??"

good point, it would make way more difference if it was a bed rack or roof rack.

    The cringe is real.

Pelfreybilt, bolt on 100#, weld on 80lbs. When you are putting on plate bumpers, roof racks, bed racks, jerry cans, skids, shovels, camping gear, 35in tires, you think anyone is is complaining about 20lbs on a truck? You might as well remove a leaf from your pack then to save weight, and add blocks since they will weigh less and give you the same height or more.

It has to be a Latino thing because that's exactly what my parents do to the rest of the family. My uncle will call me when my dad is knocking on his door and say " your dad is at the door" I reply"you mean your brother" him "your dad" me "yeah your brother". Then we laugh and keep talking but he won't answer the door. Then my dad will call me "tell your uncle to open the door" me you mean your brother" . That shit goes on and on and he still standing outside until he calls my uncle to tell him that he's coming over. It a huge source of intertainment for us .
