As i always say, go big or go home with the lift. If you have any thoughts of wanting to grab a set of performance Coilovers and its lingering in your head. . . . . go for it. I was nearly about to go with the bilstein combo front and rear with OME coils and instead jumped to Icons (Would start with ADS over Icons). Best decision and didnt look back.

@JL-3 I was in the exact same position as you a month ago. My tired/worn out springs on front and rear needed to be replaced and I wanted to get some quality suspension put on there that wouldn't lift the truck too much for my daily driver.

I found the perfect compromise - adjustable 0-3" Toytec Boss/Eibach coil lift (choose your spring rate - #550 for stock weight, #600 w/ bumper) using stock Upper Control Arms, and pair it with Deaver J59 leaf pack in the rear using stock shackles (Providing 1.5" lift). It's the perfect compromise between quality suspension parts that are better than OEM and keeping stock geometry without needing further modifications. Cost for me with shipping was $1750 through the Wheelers Offroad rep. here on the forum. Truck rides better than it ever has - more stable and confident handling and soaks bumps much better than before.

I did the lift after having refreshed the front end the year prior - new bushings in the control arms, new ball joints upper and lower. Check to make sure your bushings and ball joints aren't sloppy before you go for the fancy lift.

Sounds like a win to me!

That $1750 covered the coils, shocks (assembled?), and rear leafs? How about the leaf hardware (bushings, u-bolts, etc.)?

And how about the rear brake lines? Necessary?

I was told recently that my brake system might need to be flushed.

Yes, the shock towers come as assembled units from Toytec and bolt right in and come with the adjustment spanner wrenches. This price also included Toytec Boss shocks for the rear. The leaf pack kit comes from Wheeler's with new U-bolt hardware and Energy Suspension polyeurethane bushings. Beware that your old shackle bolts or front eye bolts may need to be replaced depending on condition, mine were trashed upon removal because they were seized. Just get some grade 8 bolts from the hardware store for these.

You don't need extended brake lines with this kit, but it's one of those extras you may want to consider if your old lines are in bad shape (I kept my originals). It's a great mid-range kit that you might be proud enough of that you won't feel any need to upgrade to a high-end kit later. I'm very pleased with my set up.

Edit: One more note - the Deaver J59'S are not meant for heavy loads - they do not have an overload spring - but they are good for a few hundred pounds without any issues. Instead they offer a very nice ride quality.
