Got Wrecked

I have been 100% absent since Hurricane Harvey, I apologize for that.
Luckily the apartment and truck, my parents were safe. A lot of friends on the other hand not so much.

Fast forward to end of April in Austin, and someone wrecked me out. Project Apollo took a hit and gave it back, we (myself and other driver) both walked away beaten up. Those Black Rhinos held up like a champ.
I am now looking at a Metallic Cement 2018 SR5, starting all over again.

I believe Cement only comes in TRD Sport/OR. Glad to hear you walked away somewhat ok.

Not off the bat. There is frame damage but they think itll buff out. Have to wait for alignment and level to determine.

Got a passenger side rear door or a passenger side bedside (long bed) that I could pull off that thing? I'm in need and haven't been able to find anything.

Glad you're okay. Bittersweet to start over; but if you get a whole new color in mind, its like a blank canvas.

Side note - Really surprised how easy these trucks total out.

All cosmetic that you see. What you dont see is frame, suspension, and all those fun things because it pushed my tire back. I went up and over and dropped her engine in the road.

 

Hahaha that is no lie. I talked to the shop foreman and he did the same exact gesture.

 

No way that’s totalled. Hell... State Farm tried to tell me 31k in damage on my bmw wasn’t totaled lol

 

If the frame can be buffed out, then not too bad, trying to figure out the meaning?

They said it was the least of his issue. Hes confident he can straighten the frame without complications, but they just had a 4 runner that gave then headache during alignment bc something was off
