Was worried it was fake news......but it appears they’ll kick it off tomorrow.

    Sweet.

There is a diamond pattern adhesive-backed rubber pad sold at Harbor Freight that I considered putting on my Tyger ”slyders”.

Pulled this hitch hiker that I picked up on the highway out of my front bumper. He managed to decapitate himself in the 1/4" gap between the bumper and headlight.

I saw that his was the Conor, but I also just purchased the Tyger locking pin, and I really like it. It seems like its high quality. I just installed it along with my Factor 55 shackle block. Picks to come.

I knew you were golden with the news.....was just starting to wonder if RL had decided delay it until some future date.

One oddball question......sorry.....had to ask........once these are installed.....will the factory hood prop still be usable ?

    Two reasons for asking:
    • I'm sure the service techs at the Toyota dealership will still try to use the factory hood prop
    • Also, I'll be installing a set of ditch lights and wanted to use the Redlines and figured I'd use the factory prop, too....when I'm loosening the hood bolts (one at a time) to install the ditch light brackets.

Just an update to this. I've never done anything to a vehicle with leaf springs, my 4Runner and FJ had coils, and I didn't know that the bottom shim was an actual shim and I thought it was just a friction plate or something. So basically the passenger side had the shim installed backwards. Ooops.

Flipped the shim back to normal, and ended up with the carrier bearing drop and now I'm good. Just in case anyone else makes the same mistake I did?

Also, I'm running Cooper Discoverer AT/3 285/75R16 on stock TRD wheels and haven't had to make any modifications at all. I haven't done anything like rock crawling, but all the dirt roads I could find and such haven't given me any rub whatsoever.

Yes. The hood prop is still fully available with the hood struts.

    Yessir !!!!!!!!

    Thanks for the update.

Done. I went with the mucho-bling edition that will match all the chrome accents I plan on piling under the hood of my Taco.

Just kidding on the chrome-ness being added. I did go with the stainless version....just for no other reason because of the humidity & salt air that my Taco will see in it's life.

I also have one of the monsta heavy duty rivet guns that @RobP62 recommended heading this way, too.
