Depending on the heat this summer..it could be august here before things clear up. Snow pack was almost 200%

 

unless it gets to hot too fast like last year. Then no one is happy.

 

No if it heats up too fast and does stay around 40 degrees at night everything melts rapidly. This causes flooding. And all the run off to run off fast and early leaving the late summer and fall extremely dry.

Which leads to bad fire seasons like last year in MT over a million acres burned

 

not sure on that stat. Plenty were man made. It was so damn dry i know a few were started with hot car brakes and exhaust.

We have flooding up here currently. If June isn’t wet it will be a repeat of the last couple years of forest fires and smoke. The cda river is absolutely raging and very high currently.

no its not. You can look up any of those stats and find out.

And its not rocket science to know that a very hot and dry year contributes to worse fire conditions.

Yellowstone is freaking high too. The still water and rosebud rivers aren't too bad though.

We have been getting plenty of rain and hail so far..hope it continues for a bit.

 

You can get close guesses for natural forest from camp ground stats. National parks all have records.

And I meant people vs natural fire starts. That could show if more people made an impact or not.

 

thats why I said you could get a rough estimate on Nat forest.

Plus there would be no stats for BLM/BOR land.
