posted in my build thread but figured you guys would enjoy as well. When i was given the skids from Leonard the transmission skid was a bit short. So i improvised and made a crossmember brace that allows me to bolt the skid to complete the set up.

Thanks all! We are super excited! Found out early in May but wanted to give it a few weeks to make sure. We are ecstatic. Can't wait to have a little camping buddy :D

Shit if that’s all you wanted, I could’ve been a camping buddy for less money.

Plus we could’ve shared a beer like next weekend, instead of having to wait like 18 years!

Just spent like an hour swapping fog lights from my work truck to my personal truck and swapping trailer harnesses (my personal truck was getting water in the housing and my trailer harness was beat to fuck)

I feel like i am slow as molasses doing what should be basic shit lol

Got my tool brackets and trailer harness relocate bracket on today. Minor stuff but, still stuff!

Looking for some loan advice (@Fernando). We are going to be getting two new cars and will need to take out loans for both, but not sure if an auto or personal loan will be best. Heard personal is better as you don’t have to meet vehicle specifics (price and mileage). One will only be 8k for a 2006-2009, private party purchase and should be paid off within 6 months. The other will be around 15k and be paid off over a few years and most likely a dealer purchase. Always bought outright so never dealt with a loan before.

Went to Molina Ghost Run this weekend. The event raises money to help keep places open. Cal4Wheel is the umbrella organization for many 4x4 clubs. Sierra Trek, bunch of poker runs, and other events.

Mostly it’s a chance for me to catch up with my friends. Wheel a bit, drink, and hang out.

Saturday night is a dinner and raffle. This year, I left with $50 certificate from 4wp and $150 Advanced Adapters. Not bad.

If you aren’t already supporting a group who works for your access rights, consider joining Cal4Wheel or Blue Ribbon Coalition. Have some fun and support a good cause.

Ummm. No. Personal loan is umsecured and you will pay double to triple the interest. Do a secured loan (private party auto loan). My CU does 130% of the value of the vehicle. Regardless of year and mileage. Some other CU's have limitations

Awesome, I was reading some articles and some would say personal and the other auto. Thanks!
