That's for damn sure. Currently juggling school, managerial training at work, and researching possible replacements for my tacoma. Can't say I hate it though, nice being productive all the time

@1st4x4 I do most of it in 4lo myself but being a manual trans its a bit different for me I think. Once we hit the fire road stretches I put it into 4hi but esp Rowher has many climbs that I find only doable in 4lo. You'll figure out what's best for you when we get there, if one doesn't work then try the other. See you guys there

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
That feeling when you got tools in the bed and it's raining fffffffff- :frusty:

Awesome trip today with some of the OG Wheelers Anon crew. Even though I struggled a bit haha. About time for a tire upgrade.

Had a god awful popping sound coming from my rear end when flexing over bumps, ruts, rocks, etc. Looked it over briefly on the trail and couldn't figure it out.

Got home and took a closer look and noticed that the bolt holding my drivers side leaf pack to the front hangar was holding on by 2 threads, I could remove it by hand.

Unfortunately, that's the one bolt I couldn't get a torque wrench on when installing my Dakars last month because it sits only an inch or so from the gas tank...can only get a hand wrench on it. Put a generous amount of blue loctite on it tonight and tightened it as much as I could by hand, gonna have to keep an eye on it.

Could've been bad...almost ended up insta-famous like that one dude that lost his axle on Rowher last month

Cool. For getting that bolt for the leaf pack tight. Get that wrench on it and then use you foot/leg to torque that bastard down.

Whoa whoa whoa who you callin skinny :muscleflexing:

Good lookin out, I'll give that a shot. @oni06 had a simliar idea that worked to tighten my cam bolts using my floor jack handle + wrench as a sort of makeshift breaker bar. I'll give it a shot if it comes loose again

Food poisoning actually takes a bit longer than 8-12 hours to really hit for most folks. Sorry to hear you're feeling bad. The trail was quite a bit more gnarly than I remember it being, still passable but a few pucker moments!

Worst food poisoning I ever had was in Nicaragua....3 days before heading back home. Being so sick you can't move except to vomit out of every orifice for days on end in a 3rd world country while staying in hostels where noone speaks english was quite the experience. As was the 6 hour international flight home...

Montezuma got me good that time. Don't ever drink the water south of the border...
